I was wondering how long do we need to give our pancreas a break before we start giving it a little bit of sugar? So that the sugar can work for us instead of working against us.
Thanks for asking Jessica. I was wondering the same thing about time frame. I had heard 6 weeks or more so glad to know try 4 weeks and then see how I feel.
At least for a month and then listen to your body. If your energy level is improving; if your waistline is going down; if you are not craving and crashing in the afternoon then insulin sensitivity is likely coming back and you may be OK to have some sugar in your diet.

Yes it is more of the processed sugars that we have to stay away from. We are going to discuss more about the processed sugars in our next class.
now the sugar in fruits and veggies is not what you are saying to stay away from but more the prossess sugars in like peanut butter right?
