Obesity- have we gotten it all wrong?

Obesity is the largest epidemic in the world today.

As per WHO : ' Obesity is one of today’s most blatantly visible – yet most neglected – public health problems. An escalating global epidemic of overweight and obesity – “globesity” – is taking over many parts of the world. If immediate action is not taken, millions will suffer from an array of serious health disorders.'

We have hundreds of dietary advice but still, we are not able to solve the simple problem of our increasing waist girth? Have we gotten it all wrong?

Let's try to analyze scientifically.

A human body is a marvelous contraption of mass and energy.

And imbalance of this mass and energy is the root cause of most of our health and weight problems.

Unfortunately, we have put a lot of emphasis on body mass but relatively neglected energy side of the

equation.

The result is thousands of fad diets that have not only not helped the problem but have worsened it many folds. Those fad diets may help in short-term weight loss but it drains our body of vital energy and in long term, we end up with an unhealthy and heavy body.

We are just going in a circle and not reaching anywhere as we are chasing the wrong goal. I wonder if rather than focusing on body mass if we focus on optimizing our energy would the outcome be different.

Medical studies have also shown that health outcome is much better in an obese but physically fit person than a skinny but physically unfit.

Changing the perspective from mass to energy will bring the paradigm shift in our approach to weight and health.

Scientifically mass and energy are tightly connected. Logically as the mass goes up energy should increase.

However in the human body as the body mass goes up after some point the energy goes down.

How is this possible?

One possible explanation is that energy is not going down but rather is being stored than expressed. In other words, we are gaining more potential energy ( stored energy) than kinetic energy ( energy that moves our body) when our body weight is going up.

If we want to lose body mass healthier way then we need to change this potential energy ( energy stored in our fat cells) into kinetic energy

( energy that moves our body) reversing this equation.

How can we convert this potential energy into kinetic energy?

To learn those secrets join us on Feb 24th. Yes, our next seminar is on Feb 24th.

This seminar is focused on understanding and optimizing human energy.

We all have an unlimited source of the energy and the time has come to unleash the energy within....
